Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights

BioBattlers, including but not limited to its software, game concept, gameplay systems, user interface, visual design, artwork, generated creatures, databases, text, code, data structures, progression mechanics, and overall system architecture, is the intellectual property of Luke John Jack Llewellyn.

All content associated with BioBattlers is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws, including but not limited to:

• The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (United Kingdom)

• The Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works

• The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (United States)

These protections apply regardless of the medium through which the content is accessed, stored, transmitted, or displayed, including mobile applications, websites, cloud services, and associated digital platforms.

Scope of Protection

Copyright protection subsists in both the individual components of BioBattlers and in the original selection, coordination, arrangement, and integration of those components into a unified system.

The structure, flow, presentation, and interaction of BioBattlers — including the combination of real-world biological scanning, AI-assisted identification and interpretation, curated plant and insect datasets, original creature representations, and interactive gameplay mechanics — constitute an original creative compilation protected under copyright law.

While individual technologies or concepts used within BioBattlers may exist independently or be generally known, the particular expression, organisation, and implementation of those elements within the BioBattlers platform is proprietary.

Restrictions on Use

Except where expressly permitted in writing, no part of BioBattlers may be copied, reproduced, modified, adapted, distributed, published, transmitted, reverse-engineered, or otherwise exploited for any purpose.

This restriction applies, without limitation, to:

• Replication or imitation of the game or its underlying systems

• Reuse or redistribution of artwork, creature designs, or databases

• Extraction of in-game assets, text, imagery, or data

• Creation of derivative works based on the BioBattlers structure, flow, or gameplay model

• Republishing BioBattlers content in print, digital, broadcast, or audiovisual formats

No licence or right is granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

AI-Assisted Content and Databases

BioBattlers makes use of licensed third-party technologies and cloud services, including AI-assisted text and image generation tools.

All resulting outputs — including creature descriptions, images, scientific text, metadata, and compiled datasets — are curated, structured, and stored as part of an original database created for BioBattlers. This database is protected as a literary and artistic compilation under applicable copyright law.

No permission is granted to reuse, rehost, scrape, or repurpose this content outside of the BioBattlers platform.

Brand and Identity

The name “BioBattlers”, together with its associated visual identity, presentation style, and branding elements, constitutes a distinctive commercial identity owned by Luke John Jack Llewellyn.

Although the name is not currently registered as a trademark, it is protected under common-law rights, including the law of passing off. Any use likely to cause confusion, misrepresentation, or association with BioBattlers without authorisation may give rise to legal action.

Monitoring and Enforcement

BioBattlers actively monitors app stores, online platforms, and digital distribution channels for unauthorised copies, derivative works, or misuse of its intellectual property.

Where infringement is identified, appropriate action may be taken, including takedown requests, platform enforcement procedures, cease-and-desist correspondence, and legal proceedings where necessary.
